10th October 2015 – TeleIDEA’s Genie enables Audience Measurement system launched by Starhub and Nielsen in Singapore.

TeleIDEA’s Genie Audience Measurement return path data (RPD) system has been launched by Starhub in Singapore.
The new system has been introduced by StarHub in collaboration with measurement firm Nielsen that is also commissioned to support the subscription and sales of collected data.



August 29, 2014 – Telefonica commercially launches TeleIDEA’s Smartware in South America

TeleIDEA proudly announces that Telefonica has commercially deployed a next generation of STB devices powered by TeleIDEA’s Smartware.

25th March 2013 – pushVOD live on the Avanti Communications satellite network

TeleIDEA and Avanti have started to broadcast the next generation PushVOD services on the Avanti Communications satellite network. Video-On-Demand boosts service revenues and is an attractive offering for new and existing customers, and to answer this market demand TeleIDEA provides PushVOD solutions running on TeleIDEA Linux middleware, targeting the DVB satellite market. TeleIDEA’s PushVOD solution by using efficient error correction mechanisms, can free a significant amount of bandwidth and deliver more content than traditional PushVOD solutions.



21 December 2012 – TeleIDEA announces its HTML5 based Cloud Solution with MicroSoft Smooth Streaming support at CES in Las Vegas

Today TeleIDEA announced its Cloud Solutions that gives operators full control to develop and deploy new features in a quick and cost-effective manner. At the basis of its Cloud technology, TeleIDEA uses HTML5 on high-end devices and a lite version of the Cloud engine for low-cost set-top boxes. At the same time TeleIDEA announces immediate availability of Microsoft Smooth Streaming within the TeleIDEA Cloud Solution to TeleIDEA’s STB partners. The TeleIDEA Cloud Solution will be demonstrated at the 2013 International CES in Las Vegas, Nevada.
